Professional Grooming Services at Heartstrings

 

Thank you for your interest in Heartstrings Grooming! Grooming is very important for your pet's health and well being. We have an excellent groomer who is professionally trained and constantly continuing her education. From bath and brushes to pet trims, our groomer can handle it all!
We estimate 4 hours for each dog, however, depending on your dog's needs and the grooming schedule, they may require up to 8 hours. Please speak with your groomer directly regarding pricing and time estimates for your pet.

 

Megan, our Salon Manager, obtained her certification through PetSmart of Lynchburg and has over 12 years of grooming experience in the New River and Roanoke Valley areas. Megan has continued to improve on her education through multiple additional certifications and she is adept at all standard dog breeds, as well as cats! 

She takes her time and always works at a pace that is most comfortable for the pet!

 Our goal is the health and safety of your pet while making them beautiful. We require proof of the RABIES vaccine for all clients. We are completely off leash/cage free, so please let us know when you schedule if we need to make other arrangements for your pet (ie. a room or crate when not being handled).
Although the majority of our clients are dogs, we also groom cats and can trim nails on rabbits.

Extra Services

Anal Gland Expression: $15 - $20 (based on severity, behavior of pet)

De-Skunk: $10+ (based on severity of spray and size of pet!)

Teeth-Brushing: $10

De-Matting: $5 - $15+ (depends on severity of mats, amount of work)

Nail Clip: $10 - $15 (based on nail length, behavior of pet)

Nail Grinding: $15-20

Kennel Baths: $15 - $30 (depending on size of guest, behavior during bath)

Seasonal Bandannas: $.50 - $1.00 add-on cost, depending on size of neck and scarf! 

De-Shedding Package
De-Shed Shampoo & Conditioner plus Extra Brushing
$7 for small dogs / $10 for large dogs (only $4 if added to a bath or grooming package)
